I love all seasons, but there is something really special about the first warm(ish) evenings of late February and March when you hear the chorus of Spring Peepers off in the distance singing the siren call of spring. The sweet, sweet music of these tiny frogs gets right into my heart and reminds me of happy memories of springtimes long past. I recently had the opportunity to be a guest on the fascinating podcast Our Numinous Nature and shared my love of all things herpetological, my transition from Reptiles Alive to Kids Nature Shows and a few more, personal, stories.
